I started taking photos in 2011, and fell in love with the process of composing images and capturing small and large moments, many of them irreverent or whimsical. Curiosity fuels my photography, and drives me to explore new places, or return to a familiar place and look at it a different way. My work aims to capture the beauty of everyday spaces, particularly in places that may be overlooked or ignored. To strengthen my creative skills, I often take art, design, or photography courses in my spare time - most recently at City College of San Francisco and Studio One Arts Center in Oakland. When I'm not spending time on artistic pursuits or working as a nonprofit leader in the Bay Area, you can find me drinking lattes, hanging out in Dolores Park, or deconstructing your favorite pop culture icons.
